Meet Chef Saira Basit
Chef Saira Basit’s professional cooking journey began at TDCP (Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab), where she underwent rigorous and intensive training. Graduating at the top of her class, Saira mastered everything from knife skills and fruit carving to baking, deep frying, and operating professional kitchen machinery.
Following graduation, she started her professional career at Pearl Continental, gaining hands-on experience in high-pressure kitchen environments and receiving official certification from PC.
After completing her tenure at Pearl Continental, Saira devoted herself to teaching, conducting full-time cooking classes, and sharing her expertise with aspiring chefs. She also joined the World Bank’s WomenX Applied Business Studies program, successfully completing Level 1, combining entrepreneurship knowledge with her culinary expertise.
